The Storatherm Heat Mini storage tanks are perfect for systems with high volume flows. They really come into their own in combination with heat pumps. Whether with horizontal or vertical connections, the Storatherm Heat Mini H and the Storatherm Heat Mini V are ideal for systems up to 20 kW heating output.
The buffer tanks operate analogously to stratification tanks. In other words, they act like a heat battery, decoupling heat generation from heat consumption both in time and hydraulically.
This is an essential prerequisite for the supply of energy from waste heat, solar systems, CHP and other heat generators, the thermal emission of which is not directly oriented to matching demand. Buffer tanks cover an extremely variable application area; essentially they are used as a primary store for supplying heating systems.
